Spicy Shrimp and Corn Chowder

This is a recipe Neal and I enjoy very much.  We got it from our e-meals subscription last year.  We don't make it often, and it's a total treat when we do get to enjoy this meal.

Just look at those yummy Shrimp!

These were getting flavorful in the fridge for about two and a half hours.  The flavors include olive oil, sriracha sauce, garlic and freshly chopped cilantro.

During their flavor soaking party, I worked out.  Then it was time to make the corn chowder.  In the mix is some chopped onion, jalapeno pepper, green pepper, corn, milk, half and half, flour, all spice, a little sugar, a little salt, and some good ol' crumbled up turkey bacon! YUM!  It is seriously tasty!

Then we heated up our shrimps in a pan until they were cooked.  These were smaller frozen shrimp.  In the past, we have used large shelled shrimp and have soaked them and grilled them with their shells on.  That's the way I really like to have this shrimp, but smaller pre-frozen shrimp will do in a pinch.

Dinner is served!  It was G-O-O-D!

*Sorry I can't give you the full recipe since it is not my own.  I highly recommend e-meals for easy, quick and affordable meal planning!
